Our Latin American Missionary School (EMLA) offers a bachelor’s degree in Missiology accredited by World Link University, an international network of missionary training institutions.
The academic program consists of 42 specialized courses in missionary communication, anthropology, theology, the Bible, and ministry; the curriculum is based on a 50% theory and 50% practice model. All graduates complete 10 months of fieldwork in various regions of Peru. It is a four-year program.
EMLA also offers missiological and cross-cultural experiences to church leaders and pastors. To date, more than 7,000 students have graduated from our Latin American School.
NEWMA offers a variety of short-term mission opportunities for churches seeking hands-on experience in cross-cultural missions. Teams collaborate with Peruvian missionaries already established in the field, working alongside church-planting teams where they can participate in construction projects, children’s evangelism, youth ministry, medical care, health campaigns, and other community development projects.
Our office coordinates domestic travel arrangements, lodging, meals, and the ministry schedule. Each team has the opportunity to worship in the community where they are serving.
Short-term mission teams also take a tour of Colonial Lima, including the Government Palace, museums, and local markets.
